“We are excited to complete our sixth land acquisition, our first in 2023, and to expand our relationship with Perry Homes,” says Brian Cramer, co-founder and managing director at Corson Cramer Development. “The McKinney residential market has been a target for us, and this is a great location in which to start.”

South Oak
Corson Cramer Development acquired 70 acres of land along Eldorado Parkway in the extra-territorial jurisdiction of Lakewood Village. The land was subsequently sold to Taylor Morrison to become the third phase of their extremely successful South Oak community. Construction began in 2022, with 281 homesites will be delivered in Summer/Fall 2023.
“This was a complex entitlement effort as the property was situated in two different cities’ ETJs”, says Larry Corson, co-founder of Corson Cramer Development. “We commend both Lakewood Village and Little Elm for their cooperation and efforts to support the development of a quality community.” The community is designed to feature an amenity center, resort-style pool, neighborhood parks, playgrounds, walking trails and expansive open spaces.
